• … conceptualize and build cloud-based IT infrastructure for our software service from the ground up
• … expand the company’s DevSecOps and GitOps capabilities and uphold the shift left principle
• … tackle the challenge of bringing a medical product to the (multi-)cloud
• … get nitty-gritty with microservices, container orchestration, and databases
• … professionalize internal development processes in a cloud and scaling environment
• … integrate our service into hospital IT infrastructure
• … establish CI/CD processes to deploy our solution to production systems
• … take on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise in early start-up life
• … and play a key role in building the company’s technological foundation

Your profile

• 4+ years experience designing cloud infrastructure and operating containerized services
• In-depth knowledge of  Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, or similar cloud provider agnostic toolsets
• Understanding of API design, DB design, and modern CI/CD approaches
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hospital IT infrastructure (PACS/HIS/PDMS) and related standards (DICOM/IHE/HL7) is highly beneficial
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English. German is a plus  
• An extreme aversion to doing repetitive things manually

 Perhaps most importantly, this position requires grit and a certain dose of “Abenteuerlust”

In the hands of physicians, it will offer personalized treatment perspectives to improve the odds of survival and recovery in millions of cases of respiratory complication each year, such as Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).
